Nice “draping” work there by the ladies! Equally nice bemused posing by the boys…
Adam, earlier this year after one of your Nectar Lounge gigs, I cornered you and asked (nicely!) for you to endorse the Australian Gymnastics Blog and our use of Go You Big Red Fire Engine as a support message for our men’s and women’s gymnastics teams that went to the Beijing Olympics. Well, you might be interested the know that I ran the project again this year, asking fans to submit photos of themselves holding GYBRFE signs to show support for our men’s and women’s teams headed to the World Championships in London next month. The photos will be printed, collated and sent to the teams.
Thought you might like to see this year’s (slightly blurry) handful of entries, up from four last year!
Hi Adam, just wanted to congratulate u on an awsome show last night and say thankyou 4 makin a great night out even better for us five. Hope to come to another of your gigs soon, Jack. (the guitarist)
Poor kids. I hope you haven’t put them off stand up for life! You can bet the next show they go to they will be as far to the back as possible! Still a good laugh for the rest of us and nothing beats a Bon Jovi singalong. When I got back to my car after the show and turned the radio on they were playing Living on a Prayer. Spooky!
That was such a funny night I can’t believe how far things went with those poor kids but my god it was funny as hell. Was such an amazing show definitely the best I’ve ever been to. It was a shame that you ran out of T-shirts but then at least they were all sold, I still got a poster out of it :). The finish of the show was unbelivable with everyone singing living on a prayer and those kids crowd surfing !! I spent most of today telling my friends why they shouldn’t do drugs using the story the forensics guy told u hahaha
